Tell us about your sports and fitness background: I played baseball through high school, but was not an active adult until I started CrossFit.
How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? My friend, Ross Dunovant, talked me into coming with him. I remember the workout was only 7 minutes long but it seemed a lot longer. I knew I had to keep coming back so a 7 minute workout didn't seem so hard in the future!
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health, and fitness since starting CF? I was overweight when I started CrossFit; I have lost 20-25lbs. Physically I am in better shape, but it has also been a huge confidence boost mentally!
Any advice for people just getting started? Listen to your coach and never give up, results will come!
